The Arc Studio CLI brings Arc Studio to your terminal, so you can build and deploy onchain apps from the command line, or let a coding agent delegate onchain work to Arc Studio. These steps install the arc-studio command, sign in, and run your first prompt.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you’ve:

Steps

1

Install the CLI

Install the CLI globally:
2

Authorize the CLI in your browser, then confirm you’re signed in:
On SSH, a headless machine, or a sandboxed agent, see Authentication.
3

Run your first prompt

Send a prompt with run. This prompt deploys a contract, which can take 5 to 20 minutes:
Arc Studio streams its progress as the agent works. To stop waiting and reattach later, see Timeouts and detached runs.
Scripts and agents can add --output json to get one structured result. Read the deployed address from deployments and the workspace link from webUrl. See the result document.
4

Pull the generated code

Review what the turn changed, then download the files you want. The dry run shows what would be written without writing anything:
pull skips files you edited locally. For all options, see File input and output.
For every command and flag, see the Arc Studio CLI reference. If a step fails, see Troubleshoot Arc Studio.
